Pregnancy, birth, and the journey into parenthood are milestone events in a woman’s life. The childbirth experience, whether it is positive or negative, will greatly affect the woman, her partner, and their child. Here at Southern California Birth Experience, it is our goal to provide the means necessary to help these couples create the positive experience they so deeply desire.

The birth of a child is a moment that will live on in the hearts and minds of those who have experienced it. As Labor Support Specialists, Postpartum Doulas, Lactation Counselors, and childbirth educators it is our goal to provide expectant couples with the information necessary to make informed decisions about their childbirth and newborn experience. Childbirth is a normal healthy process and women should have the ability to give birth in a way that is normal and natural for them. Here at So Cal Births, we feel that it is our job and obligation to present information about all aspects of birth and newborn care; including medical technology, interventions, and medications; in an unbiased, comprehensive, evidence-based format. In doing so, this will provide the expectant couple with enough knowledge and information to allow them to make their own personal choices regarding the care of both mother and child.
